Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to what families ask us most. Don't see yours? Ask it on a free call.

Getting started

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. The call is free, takes about 15 minutes, and there's no obligation to buy anything.

Do I have to meet in person?

No. We meet by phone or video, so we can help you from anywhere in the country.

Which states do you serve?

We're licensed in all 50 states.

What are your hours?

Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm Arizona time. Arizona doesn't change its clocks for daylight saving time, so in summer our hours match Pacific time, and in winter they match Mountain time.

Life insurance

Do I need a medical exam?

Often, no. Most final expense plans and many term plans only ask health questions, and some can approve you the same day.

Can I get coverage if I have health problems?

Often, yes. Each insurance company views health conditions differently, which is one reason we compare several of them.

Guaranteed acceptance plans are also available for people who don't qualify elsewhere. They usually have a waiting period before the full benefit pays.

Do you work with more than one insurance company?

Yes. We work with many top-rated insurance companies, so we can compare prices and features for you.

How fast can coverage start?

Many policies can be approved and in force within a day or two, and sometimes the same day as your call.

Retirement

Can you help me roll over an old 401(k)?

Yes. We'll explain your options, including when it makes sense to leave the money where it is, and help with the paperwork for a direct rollover.

What is an annuity bonus?

Some annuities add a bonus to new money you deposit, up to 20% on select products. Bonus products usually come with longer surrender periods or lower caps, and we'll explain those terms before you decide.

Is my money protected in an annuity?

Fixed and fixed indexed annuities protect your principal from market losses as long as you follow the contract terms. Guarantees are backed by the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the insurance company.

Wills & trusts

Is a will really included with some policies?

Yes. Select life insurance policies include access to a will and trust at no extra cost. Ask us on your call which options qualify.

Do I need a will if I have life insurance?

Life insurance goes to the beneficiary you name, not through your will. A will still matters for everything else you own and for naming guardians for your children.
